Who I am
Coming from an entertainment background, I have always been fascinated by stories and people; more importantly the layers within us that create the unique characters we are.
Throughout my life I walked around with a feeling that something was missing. I wasn't living the life I thought would be mine and I didn’t know what was wrong. I began to wonder what was wrong with me? Why wasn’t I thriving? Why wasn’t I happy? Why wasn’t I … living ?
I began a journey of self discovery that kept opening more and more doors that led to even more paths and I have come to realise the journey to self never really ends but now I don’t want it to. I am excited about who I am becoming and the questions that used to haunt me now ignite my curiosity - How can I live life to the fullest? What are my emotions telling me? What part of me needs a voice?
I am a Counsellor passionate about discovering what is holding us back from being our most present,authentic , and joyful selves. I seek to offer a space of curiosity, and exploration without judgement. I am especially interested in how trauma informs our bodies and our minds and stops us from living the life we were born to live.
What I offer
I offer a variety of evidence-based counselling services, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, somatic therapy and client centred therapy. I am open to working on whatever you need support with, but I have a special interest in anxiety, depression, burnout, relationships, trying to conceive, infertility, and relationship with food.
My Approach
My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, compassion, and non-judgement. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where my clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and feelings. I challenge my clients when needed and lead them to a place where they can develop the skills and tools they need to thrive.
